A transport and logistics center for the development of freight transportation between Russia and China will be built in the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ
In 2027, the new resident of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, the “A2 Group” company, will put into operation a cross-border production transport and logistics distribution center on the Khabarovsk Bypass highway, which connects all the sites of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ. The project is aimed at ensuring the flow of imported and exported goods between Russia and China. The volume of investments under the agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) is more than 7 billion rubles, 40 jobs are being created.
“By decree of the President, a new cargo and passenger automobile checkpoint is being built at the border with China on Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island in Khabarovsk Region. The integration of Russian and Chinese transport infrastructure creates conditions for turning Khabarovsk into a global "dry port" - a cross-border center for transport, industrial, economic and tourism cooperation. To ensure the operation of the “Bolshoy Ussuriysky” checkpoint, it is necessary to create additional capacities. The new transport and logistics center will allow for the processing and storage of cargo, including distribution activities," said Mikhail Plotnikov, CEO of the “A2 Group” company.
