Private investors plan to build a greenhouse complex, an oil refining complex, and a petrochemical complex in the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ

A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ was held in Khabarovsk. With the participation of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), regional and municipal authorities, development institutions, and business representatives, the Supervisory Board approved the expansion of the ASEZ's boundaries to accommodate new investment projects.

” The Supervisory Board supported the initiative to include a land parcel of over 842 hectares in Khabarovsk Region within the boundaries of the priority development area for the creation of an oil refining and petrochemical complex. The project envisions the construction of a plant with a processing capacity of over 7 million tons of oil per year. It is planned to produce diesel fuel, kerosene, and petrochemical products. Once the design capacity is reached by 2032, 840 jobs are expected to be created. In addition, a project to build a greenhouse complex with a total area of over 25 hectares within the Lazo Municipal District of Khabarovsk Region was considered. The project's implementation will strengthen the region's food security and create 513 jobs. The decisions made following the Supervisory Board meeting will contribute to the accelerated economic development of Khabarovsk Region and improve the quality of life for its residents," said Alexey Razin, Director of the Khabarovsk Regional Development Corporation (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation).
