In Arkhangelsk, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation is opening a metalworking workshop

“Stroydetal”, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), is implementing a project under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) to build a modern, multifunctional facility for the repair of construction, road, forestry, and quarry equipment, as well as the maintenance of industrial and material handling equipment. The resident will soon open an additional metalworking shop. Approximately 59 million rubles have been invested in the launch of the new facility.

"The creation of a modern, multifunctional enterprise in Arkhangelsk is not simply the launch of a production line, but the formation of a new center of excellence in the field of heavy engineering services and metalworking. Thanks to state support for residents—preferential tax rates on profits and property, the ability to obtain land without bidding, and reimbursement of insurance premiums when creating new jobs—business in the region is developing, becoming profitable, and creating a new sustainable environment for people to live comfortably," noted Elizaveta Luzina, Deputy Director of the Investment Project Support Department for the Arctic Zone of the FEDC.
