A new resident of the “Bolshoy Kamen” ASEZ will create a ship repair complex in Primorye

In 2025, the resident of the "Bolshoy Kamen" ASEZ - company "Grandier" - will create a complex for the repair and maintenance of ships and boats. The project plans to provide services for replacing sheathing elements, diagnostics and restoring the operability of ship equipment and mechanisms, painting and sealing hulls, as well as conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will invest more than 20 million rubles and create 52 jobs. The complex with a full technological cycle, which includes preparation, welding, painting and diagnostics, will occupy a niche in the sector of commercial servicing of the fishing fleet, gas carriers and medium-class tankers, as well as small vessels and boats. "Primorsky Region is one of the shipping concentration points in the Far East. The project of the new resident of the priority development area will allow to meet the needs of both commercial large-tonnage and small-sized fleet. The “Grandier” company and other residents have access to tax benefits, administrative preferences, opportunities to obtain land, infrastructure, preferential financing, legal and personnel support. FEDC will support the project at all stages of implementation," commented Aleksey Dunayev, Director of FEDC “Primorye”.
