Far East screenwriters presented ideas for future film projects during an accelerator at the Creative Industries Forum

The scriptwriting accelerator was held as part of the business program of the International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East," which is taking place in Ulan-Ude from May 21 to 23. Vladimir Sokhnenko, Director of the ANO "Center for Assistance to the Development of Youth Creative Initiatives 'Far East,'" moderated the session.

The session was organized by Artur Tumanyan, winner of the social architect’s competition and creative director of the federal project "Youth Day." He stated that the Far East region has enormous potential for film. Accelerators and pitching sessions are designed to help creators find ways to bring their ideas to life and find audiences.

"While some works aren't yet ready to become films or series tomorrow, the fact that the creators are presenting them to a jury of highly professional experts is a big step. For them, this could be the defining moment when they transition from simple creatives to professional screenwriters. And that's exactly the idea that drives us," Sokhnenko noted.
