Construction of a customs and logistics terminal in Buryatia will increase trade turnover between Russia, China and Mongolia
As part of the events of the Day of the Far East and the Arctic at the exhibition-forum “Russia”, an agreement was concluded on the construction of a customs and logistics terminal in the village of Naushki in the Republic of Buryatia. General Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) Nikolay Zapryagaev, Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov and Director of the Baikal Transit Customs and Logistics Terminal LLC Nikolay Kushnir signed the document in the presence of the Russian Federation Minister for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Alexey Chekunkov.
The company TLT Baikal Transit LLC plans to build a new customs and logistics terminal near the Naushki railway station of the East Siberian Railway. The station is located 900 km from the Erlian station of the People's Republic of China, the route to which passes through the territory of Mongolia. The work of the new TLT will be aimed at providing services for processing import-export cargo of participants in foreign economic activity.
