Construction of the first roadstead tugboat has begun at the enterprise of a resident of the “Primorye” ASEZ

The keel-laying ceremony for the new roadstead tugboat “Grossman” took place at the production site of the resident of the “Primorye” ASEZ, the “RSC” company. This is the first tugboat of the RBT14S model to be built in Primorye. The customer is the resident of the Free Port (FPV), the marine fishing company “Grossevichi”. The projects are being implemented under agreements with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

"The laying of the keel of a new small tugboat is an important point in the development of the shipbuilding industry for the company and the region as a whole. The project was developed considering safety requirements. The main purpose of the vessel is to perform port and roadstead work, tow barges. In the future, we plan to expand the model range of boats so that customers can solve functional logistics problems related to towing and roadstead maintenance. The goal of our company is to manufacture reliable vessels in the Far East, and provide repair and maintenance services. I would like to note that reduced insurance premiums, zero property, profit and land taxes, comprehensive support from the FEDC, focus on our company and support allow us to feel confident on the way to this goal," said Igor Pronovich, CEO of the “RSC” company.

The “RSC” company received the status of a resident of the priority development area in 2024. During this period, 25 jobs were created under the agreement with the FEDC. The production with a capacity of 5 small vessels per year is aimed at meeting the needs of local fishing and transport enterprises.
