A strategic session “Development of individual housing construction in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic. Best Practices and New Opportunities” was held in Khabarovsk. During the event, representatives of federal and regional authorities, the business community and the financial sector discussed promising mechanisms for the development of individual housing construction. The event was organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Far East of Russia, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, PJSC Sberbank, as well as the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Property of the Khabarovsk Region.
The session was opened by Elvira Nurgalieva, Deputy Head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East. In her speech, she noted the upward trend in individual construction: a record number of new housing was commissioned in the Far East over the year - 3.5 million square meters., of which 2 million - construction of individual housing. Growth is stimulated by such instruments as the preferential “Far Eastern Mortgage”, with the help of which more than 66 thousand families improve their housing, free “Far Eastern Hectares”, which have already taken about 115 thousand people, as well as the “Far Eastern Quarter program”, which creates preferences for complex development cities of the Far East.
“For the successful implementation of such projects, I recommend developers to use all the opportunities that have already been created by the state. For example, working at the site of the “Nadezhdinskaya” ASEZ, we enjoyed tax benefits and in total were able to save about 200 million rubles. We were also able to connect the village's power grid to the new FEDC substation. The third thing worth paying attention to is the availability of a high-quality production base that can ensure the supply of products for construction in large volumes and in the right time,” said Andrey Artamonov, General Director of the DNS Development group of companies (LLC SZ DNS DOM).
