On October 1, the All-Russian Film Marathon of the Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" started. The Film Marathon is a large-scale event of the Arctic International Film Festival, aimed at developing cooperation between filmmakers and cultural and educational institutions throughout Russia. The mission of the Film Marathon is to provide every institution with the opportunity to show good films, and every author with a wide audience.
The “Golden Raven” AIFF Film Marathon is held by the “Golden Raven” Center for Development and Support of Cultural Projects, the “Youth Initiatives” Production Center, with the support of the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, VK Creative and the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “IRI”.
The Film Marathon program includes a chosen selection of modern animation, short feature films, full-length hits, works by students and graduates of St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television, as well as projects created with the support of the Institute for Internet Development (IID).
