The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) has announced the start of accepting applications for a competitive selection that will determine the investor-developer for the second stage of the comprehensive construction of comfortable and affordable housing under the “Far Eastern Quarter” program in the city of Khabarovsk, Khabarovsky Region. The winner will receive a wide range of tax benefits and administrative preferences due to the assignment of the status of a resident of the priority development area "Khabarovsk". The results of the competition will be announced in November 2024.
More than 83 hectares in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Khabarovsk have been allocated for integrated residential development. At least 388 thousand square meters of housing will be built in stages by 2036. The developer will make at least 50 thousand square meters of housing available for purchase for social needs.
The kindergartens and school within the framework of the project will be built by the Government of Khabarovsky Region with the help of federal budget funds. The necessary engineering and utility infrastructure will be created at the expense of the federal budget.
