Old Believers are moving to the Russian Far East

9 families of Old Believers moved to Primorye from Uruguay, Brazil and Bolivia under the state program for the resettlement of compatriots from abroad. With the support of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) and the administration of the Primorsky Region, “New Far Easterners” plan to receive free land under “the Far Eastern Hectare” program and create a new agglomeration near the village of Dukhovskoye in the Border District of Primorsky Territory.
