Sports centers, hospitals and roads will be built in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District thanks to the Far Eastern Concession
Agreements on the creation of social, industrial and transport infrastructure within the framework of master plans for Far Eastern cities were signed at EEF 2023 by the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic with governors and representatives of the governments of the Far Eastern Federal District. The documents imply the construction of infrastructure facilities using the Far Eastern Concession mechanism in the Republic of Buryatia, the Amur Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. The total investment volume will be about 75 billion rubles.
“The implementation of the master plans will make it possible to create a modern infrastructure in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District for living, raising children, working and attracting tourists. This will be a new quality of life for Far Eastern residents. The Far Eastern concession will help attract private investment in construction so that the facilities needed by the Far Easterners appear as soon as possible and serve for a long time to future generations,” said Deputy Minister for Development of the Far East and Arctic Anatoly Bobrakov.
