Project for creating a new city in Primorsky Region
During a working trip to the Primorsky Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, held a meeting on the implementation of the project to create a satellite city of Vladivostok.
“As part of the "Greater Vladivostok" project, a satellite city will be created near the capital of the Primorsky Region. Working on the master plan of the satellite city has been underway since 2022. Construction work is planned to begin in 2024. 30 billion rubles have been allocated for infrastructure as part of the state program for the development of the Far East. I would like to emphasize that this is quite a big event for the Far East, for our country. We are starting to build a new city. Herewith, we have the opportunity to build it from the beginning correctly, developing the most important part for a seaside city - the embankment. That is, we now need to join forces and do everything correctly, beautifully and comfortably for people,” Yuri Trutnev opened the meeting.
