The creation of a project center for the development of local energy was discussed at the conference "Territory of Energy Dialogue"

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) took part in the III scientific and practical conference “Territory of Energy Dialogue”, organized by the Russian Energy Agency with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the “Roscongress” Foundation. The panel session “Local generation, optimization and typification of industrial orders, development of modular energy systems” discussed the implementation of investment projects to modernize inefficient diesel, fuel oil and coal generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far East and the Arctic. According to Maxim Gubanov, Head of the Energy and Housing and Utilities Department of the Far East Development Corporation, taking into account a number of existing technological, administrative and financial restrictions for attracting investments in this area, the Corporation, together with the “Energynet” Infrastructure Center and the Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, is developing an initiative to create a project center for the development of local engineering infrastructure. The key task of the center will be the development and implementation of new forms of public-private partnerships for the realization of the most complicated investment projects in local energy, where existing business models do not provide the necessary economic effect for the investor and the region.
