The creation of an international ASEZ for foreign investors in the Far East was discussed at the EEF-2023 field session in Blagoveshchensk

On the sidelines of the Russian-Chinese Economic Forum "AmurExpo-2023" in Blagoveshchensk, an off-site session of the Eastern Economic Forum "The Far East and China: International Territories of Advanced Development - Prospects and Opportunities for Cooperation" was held. The event was organized by the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) and the “Roscongress” Foundation. Representatives of ministries and departments, business unions and heads of large businesses in Russia and China discussed the opportunities and risks in making the necessary administrative, legal, financial, technical and personnel decisions to create International Priority Development Areas (IPDA) - a new preferential regime. Nikolai Zapryagaev, Director General of the FEDC moderated the session. He recalled, that at the EEF-2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin set a strategic task - to develop a special regime in the Far Eastern Federal District, that provides the creation of the most favorable conditions for the implementation of projects for the production of competitive products with high value-added and high-tech projects together with partners from friendly countries.
