A meeting of the investment headquarters for off-budget projects of Chukotka's master plans was held

The first meeting of the investment headquarters, chaired by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), was held in Moscow. The meeting focused on the implementation of off-budget projects within the framework of long-term comprehensive development plans for cities in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (ChAO). Key initiatives, government support measures, and mechanisms for attracting private investment for the implementation of regional master plan projects were discussed.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, specialists from the Corporation's relevant departments, and representatives of the Chukotka Autonomous District Government, led by Deputy Governor Anton Yaremchuk. The discussion covered 11 priority projects, with a total investment of over 10 billion rubles, being implemented as part of the master plan for the city of Anadyr and other settlements in the District.

The headquarters participants paid special attention to projects aimed at addressing the region's systemic challenges: food security, housing construction, infrastructure development, and resource conservation. Among the most significant initiatives are the modernization of the Zapadno-Ozernoye gas complex (investment: 4.8 billion rubles), the construction of a waste management complex in the urban-type settlement of Ugolnye Kopi (1.1 billion rubles), as well as housing projects: the Yagodny complex on Mandrikova Street in Anadyr (825 million rubles) and a 40-apartment apartment building on Chukotskaya Street (490 million rubles).

To improve the region's food security, projects for a greenhouse complex and a poultry farm with a total investment of 520 million rubles were discussed. Support from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture in the form of interest rate subsidies on loans has already been confirmed.
