Solar power plants with a capacity of 40 MW will be built in four regions of the Far East

At the Eastern Economic Forum 2023, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the “EcoEnergy Group” company agreed to implement investment projects in the field of solar energy in four regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. The investor intends to build solar power plants with a total capacity of 40 MW in the Jewish Autonomous Region, Kamchatka, as well as in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Regions. The total investment in the development of renewable energy sources will amount to 4 billion rubles. The signing parties were Deputy General Director for Investment Promotion of the FEDC Kirill Kamenev, General Director of “EcoEnergy Group” LLC Artur Alibekov, as well as representatives of the governments of a number of regions of the Far East. In addition to ensuring a guaranteed energy supply, the implementation of the investment project will make it possible to employ 330 people during the construction phase. “Each investment project requires a search for a rational economic balance between regional authorities, potential investors and consumers. We see business interest in energy projects and actively support companies, that are ready to participate with their own investments in the development of renewable energy sources,” summarized Kirill Kamenev, Deputy General Director for Investment Promotion of the FEDC.
