After lowering the minimum threshold for capital investments required to receive preferences, small businesses could become residents of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV). According to the press service of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the new residents intend to invest a total of 32.1 million rubles in projects.

“Reducing the minimum threshold for capital investments required to obtain the status of a FPV resident from 5 million to 500 thousand rubles made it possible for 23 companies to take advantage of state support measures. These are mainly enterprises of the Primorsky region, but there are also business projects in Kamchatka and Chukotka. They invest from 500 thousand to 4.5 million rubles in projects in various industries. The total size of investment is 32.1 million rubles, over 1,450 jobs are being created. Investors have already invested 5.8 million rubles and created 245 jobs," the press service said.
