Seminar for participants of the All-Russian competition of the best projects of a comfortable urban environment for the Far Eastern Federal District was held in Khabarovsk

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), together with the Ministry of Construction of Russia, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, held a training seminar on the basis of the Pacific State University (TOGU) in Khabarovsk on preparing applications for the All-Russian competition of the best projects of a comfortable urban environment for representatives of regions and cities of the Far East. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to implement their projects with the support of the state. Representatives of the Ministry of Construction, FEDC, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, regional authorities, and the architectural community of the region acted as experts at the seminar.

In 2023, two separate stages of the All-Russian competition will be held for small towns of the Far Eastern Federal District, where up to 250 thousand people live.

Ilya Petrasov, Director of the Department for Urban Development and the “Far Eastern Mortgage” Project of the FEDC: “The first stage of the competition for the settlements of the Far Eastern Federal District starts on April 1. According to its results, 32 winners will be determined in May 2023. The total amount of financing for these projects is 3.1 billion rubles. The second contest starts on September 5 and will run until November 1, 2023. 50 winners will be determined with a total funding of 5 billion rubles. The Corporation's task at this stage is to involve municipal teams in the competition and, with the help of experts, help them create high-quality, creative, well-designed applications. A seminar in Khabarovsk was devoted to these issues.
