Sanctions did not prevent the Khabarovsk Region from maintaining economic and social stability

Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a meeting at which the results of the development of the Khabarovsk Territory for 2022 and the region's plans for 2023 were discussed. The main report was made by the governor of the region Mikhail Degtyarev.

According to Mikhail Degtyarev, the sanctions did not prevent the Khabarovsk Region fr om maintaining stability in the economy and the social sphere. “At the end of 2022, the industrial production index amounted to 102.5%,” he said.

In 2023, special attention will be paid to supporting key backbone enterprises. In total, this group includes 174 organizations in the region.

Regional authorities pay serious attention to the work of local enterprises for the needs of the Special Military Operation. The production of army tents and ammunition began in the region. The local company "Sonictrans" is preparing for the serial production of highly passable tactical all-terrain vehicles - buggies.

The task of attracting investments, including investments within the framework of preferential regimes, was also discussed. The volume of declared investments in the ASEZ for 2022 increased by more than 1.5 times. The area of advanced development territories "Khabarovsk", "Komsomolsk", "Nikolaevsk" was expanded for the implementation of seven investment projects. One of them is the organization of production of the “Baikal” light-engine multi-purpose aircraft. The start of production is scheduled for 2025.

The development of agriculture and forestry, housing construction, the implementation of national projects, the popularization of the ideas of military-patriotic education and other issues wh ere also discussed.
