The “Ussuri” sanatorium in Khabarovsk will be reconstructed

In accordance with the long-term development plan for the Khabarovsk agglomeration, preparations have begun for the construction of the “Ussuri” multifunctional treatment and rehabilitation center. The plan is being implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Eastern Development, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the Government of the Khabarovsk Region. The reconstructed facility is planned to be put into operation in 2028. It will provide residents of the Khabarovsk Region and the entire Far East with accessible opportunities for recreation and recovery, and will also allow participants of a special military operation to undergo rehabilitation. Up to 15,000 people will be able to improve their health at “Ussuri” per year. “The total area of the “Ussuri” buildings will exceed 32 thousand square meters. The structure will include two sanatorium buildings, treatment and diagnostic departments, a rehabilitation building with 180 beds, as well as a water and health complex with a swimming pool. According to preliminary calculations, the cost of implementing the project will be about 9.5 billion rubles,” the Ministry of Economic Development of the Khabarovsk Territory reported.
