“Russian Railways” (RR), FEDC and “RR Logistics” agreed to expand cooperation within the framework of the “Primorye” ASEZ project
JSC “Russian Railways”, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) and JSC “Russian Railways Logistics” signed an agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum on further steps to provide railway infrastructure to the priority development territory of “Primorye” (formerly the Nadezhdinskaya ASEZ).
The document was signed by Deputy General Director of JSC “Russian Railways” - Head of the Center for Corporate Transport Services Alexey Shilo, General Director of the FEDC Nikolay Zapryagaev and General Director of JSC “Russian Railways Logistics” Dmitry Murev.
“Increasing logistics capacity in the Far Eastern Federal District is one of the priorities. The investor plans to build the terminal and railway infrastructure of the “Zapadnaya” site within the boundaries of the “Primorye” ASEZ. This will ensure the logistics needs of residents of the ASEZ, create a support hub for multimodal transportation in the region, and increase the attractiveness of the territory for investors who are at the stage of deciding to open their own enterprise in the Far East,” Nikolay Zapryagaev emphasized.
