In Jakarta, as part of the Russia-Indonesia business forum, negotiations were held between Elvira Nurgalieva, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and the leadership of the Ministry of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in such areas as cinema, animation, design, fashion and gastronomy, as well as the possibility of exporting Far Eastern creative products to the Indonesian market.
The Russia-Indonesia Business Forum is organized by the “Roscongress” Foundation jointly with the Indonesian “Chamber of Commerce and Industry” (KADIN). The forum is an important platform for dialogue between representatives of governments, businesses, and the public of the two countries and is aimed at identifying and promoting promising initiatives and projects for Russian-Indonesian cooperation. The delegation of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East at the forum is headed by Deputy Minister Elvira Nurgalieva.
The delegation's program includes negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Creative Economy of Indonesia; a visit to the Science and Technology Park of the University of Indonesia (UI Science Techno Park); a number of business meetings with Indonesian companies on joint projects in the fields of trade, education and innovation; and participation in the plenary session of the business forum.
