Residents of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ presented key projects to Russian and Chinese journalists

A large-scale press tour for over 30 representatives of Russian and Chinese media was held as part of the AmurExpo Russian-Chinese Economic Forum. Journalists visited the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe International Bridge and four significant investment projects being implemented in the Amur Region. These investment projects are residents of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ and are being implemented under agreements with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

The press tour began with a tour of the cross-border cableway under construction across the Amur River—the first such project in the world between Russia and China. The project is being implemented by “ARPI” (part of “Region Group”) as a resident of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ. The cableway will be 976 meters long, and cabins with a capacity of up to 110 people will travel across the river in 2.5 minutes.

The cable car will be able to carry 6,800 passengers daily in both directions, and 2.5 million annually. The terminal on the Russian side, measuring 26,000 square meters, will house shops, food outlets, duty-free shops, a panoramic restaurant, terraces, and a border checkpoint on four floors.
