Residents of preferential regimes and potential investors in Chukotka were informed about improvements in business control and protection

FEDC “Chukotka” (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation - FEDC) held a meeting in Anadyr for the business community, the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights, and the head of the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor. The event was held at the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug “Economic Development and Direct Investment Fund”. The speakers discussed the changes to federal legislation that came into effect in 2025 regarding oversight activities and the protection of entrepreneurs' rights.

The new rules are intended to create clearer working conditions for entrepreneurs and to make the mechanism for ensuring consumer safety more effective for regulatory authorities.

The event was held not only in person in Anadyr but also online. This allowed residents of preferential regimes from other localities, such as the Bilibino District and the Provideniya Municipal District, to participate. Local administrations actively supported the FEDC “Chukotka”'s initiative and helped organize a video conference for businesspeople.

In conclusion, all participants received contact information from the speakers, useful links to regulatory agency websites, and an invitation to further collaboration.
