A resident of the “Transbaikalye” ASEZ will provide the region's enterprises with asphalt concrete and crushed stone products

“Kungarat”, a new resident of the “Transbaikalye” ASEZ, is implementing a project to build an asphalt and aggregate production complex. Its annual capacity will be up to 19,800 tons of asphalt concrete mix and bitumen emulsion, 40,000 cubic meters of crushed stone, sand, and gravel mix, and 60,000 cubic meters of crushed stone. The plant will begin production in the third quarter of 2028. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor is investing 128.6 million rubles and creating 29 jobs.

"Implementation of this investment project will create a modern complex for the production of asphalt concrete and aggregate products for industrial enterprises, as well as contribute to the economic development of the Trans-Baikal Territory, ensure the creation of new jobs, and increase tax revenues to budgets at various levels," stated Dina Arkhipenko, Director of the FEDC “Transbaikalye”.
