A resident of the “Yakutia” ASEZ opened the “Sakhawood” film studio

A film studio, created by “Sakhawood” LLC, a resident of the “Yakutia” ASEZ, has opened in Yakutsk. The project, implemented under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), is based at the “Kvartal Truda” (Labor Quarter) creative cluster and is aimed at developing professional film and video production in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

“Sakhawood” LLC provides full-cycle services in video production, series and television program production, podcast recording, and other audiovisual content creation. The resident company's team consists of local specialists, and plans to expand the team and scale its operations.

According to Alexey Pavlov, CEO of “Sakhawood” LLC, the company is focused on long-term development and working with various content formats. Dmitry Borisov, Director of the FEDC “Yakutia”, notes that the launch of the new film studio strengthens the region's creative infrastructure.

"Kvartal Truda" is the first venue in Russia created in a priority development area using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East specifically for creative industries and is one of the key projects for the development of the region's creative economy.
