A resident of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ opened a plywood production plant with a capacity of up to 120 thousand cubic meters per year

“RFP” Group opened a new softwood (larch) structural plywood plant in the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Investment in the project exceeded 4.7 billion rubles. The plant's design capacity is up to 120,000 cubic meters of plywood per year. The new facility is targeted at markets in Russia and Southeast Asia. The plant has created over 200 jobs.

Over 80% of the new plant's equipment was manufactured in Russia, with the “Proletarskaya Svoboda” Plant, located in Yaroslavl, serving as the project's primary technology partner.

"The plywood mill marks the next step for “RFP” Group to expand its wood processing capabilities, following the creation of three previous plants: one for lumber, one for veneer, and one for fuel pellets. The project was implemented with government support and under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation," said Viktor Berdnikov, CEO of “RFP” Group.
