The agreement on the implementation of investment activities in the advanced development area «Кamchatka» was signed at the 7th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok between the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and JSC Bystrinskaya Mining Company (part of Atom Gold). The project provides for the construction of the first stage of a mining and processing plant at the Kumroch deposit in the «Kamchatka» priority development area. The investor plans to employ 1 thousand people. The launch of the GOK is scheduled for 2026.
