A resident of the TOP "Chukotka" expanded the greenhouse complex and will provide the residents of Anadyr with fresh vegetables and berries

Individual entrepreneur Pavel Makatrov launched the third greenhouse complex in Anadyr, which will allow harvesting 60 tons of cucumbers and greens a year, as well as growing tomatoes, strawberries and mushrooms.

The first stage of a multi-storey greenhouse, which was built in harsh conditions - in the permafrost zone, was launched by a resident of the advanced development territory Chukotka in 2017. In the same year, 5.2 tons of products were collected. Then the production, based on the cultivation of greenhouse vegetables in hydroponics with the use of light-efficient lamps, was expanded. An additional 600 square meters of greenhouses were built for vegetable plantations and harvesting increased to 30 kg per day. And today the farmer has launched another modern greenhouse, which has no analogues in the region.

Thanks to the status of a resident of the Chukotka ASEZ, Pavel Makatrov received an investment loan for 75 million rubles from SME Bank at a reduced rate of 6.5% per annum for seven years. The total amount of investments in the project implementation exceeded 188 million rubles, 27 people were employed at the enterprise.
