This development is part of its import substitution policy and allows it to provide local customers with high-quality products previously sourced from abroad.
Under agreements with the FEDC, 1,827 FPV residents are implementing projects in Primorsky Region, with 583 projects already operational. Businesses have invested 605 billion rubles in the region's economy and created jobs for 56,200 residents.
As of September 1, 2024, obtaining FPV resident status has been simplified. A company's business plan may now only contain the project's key parameters. The minimum investment threshold is 500,000 rubles over three years.
