A resident of the Freeport of Vladivostok has created a multifunctional enterprise for servicing sea vessels and special equipment in Primorye

“KIT”, a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), has established a production and service complex in the Nakhodka urban district. The company provides a full range of supply and repair services for sea vessels calling at the port of Nakhodka, as well as maintenance of specialized equipment used by residents of priority development areas and port infrastructure facilities. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the resident has currently invested over 300 million rubles in the project and created 50 jobs.

The company has also established the production of metal structures, steel pipes, tanks, and cisterns, and also offers metal machining and protective coatings. This development is part of its import substitution policy and allows it to provide local customers with high-quality products previously sourced from abroad.

Under agreements with the FEDC, 1,827 FPV residents are implementing projects in Primorsky Region, with 583 projects already operational. Businesses have invested 605 billion rubles in the region's economy and created jobs for 56,200 residents.

As of September 1, 2024, obtaining FPV resident status has been simplified. A company's business plan may now only contain the project's key parameters. The minimum investment threshold is 500,000 rubles over three years.
