An FPV resident is implementing machine vision at enterprises in Primorye to boost productivity and reduce losses

Vladivostok-based company “Sayotics”, a resident of the Free Port Vladivostok (VFP) special economic zone, is implementing industrial automation solutions using computer vision at enterprises in Primorye. These systems are already monitoring for defects, measuring raw materials, and tracking product inventory. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), over 500,000 rubles have been invested in the project.

The project aims to optimize the operations of manufacturing enterprises by reducing costs and waste and increasing productivity. To achieve this, specialists employ a wide range of modern technologies—from programming tools and IT solutions to machine vision and graphical interface development.

Lev Davydenko, Head of the “Sayotics” project: "Computer vision paves the way from pinpoint defect detection to full production automation. We are already implementing solutions that enable us to identify product defects, precisely measure raw materials prior to machining, retrofit existing equipment, track workpieces end-to-end at every stage, and automatically record finished product volumes. We currently work successfully with Free Port of Vladivostok residents and are open to collaborating with other enterprises."
