An FPV resident has developed a unique product for eliminating oil spills at sea in extremely low temperature conditions

“Tochka A”, a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), has successfully completed a project to develop and launch production of an innovative dispersant. The product is designed to effectively respond to oil and petroleum product spills in seas with varying salinity and at extremely low temperatures—down to -40°C—and is unique in the world. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investment volume amounted to 2.2 million rubles.

The product is already available to key customers: shipping companies, emergency response services, shipbuilding and ship repair companies, as well as enterprises with port and industrial infrastructure. The FPV resident's capacity allows for the production of 250 tons of the product per year, with the ability to increase volumes to meet market demand.

"The dispersant's key advantages include versatility for petroleum products of any density in water of varying salinity, as well as stable performance in temperatures ranging from +40°C to –40°C, making it essential for operations in the Arctic, the Far North, and any region of Russia. The product maintains its fluidity after freezing, is ready for use with standard equipment, and has all the necessary permits. It is also completely environmentally safe," noted Sergey Koshelevich, CEO of “Tochka A” LLC.
