A resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation will develop air service in remote areas of Chukotka

“SeverAero LLC”, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), will launch helicopter passenger and cargo services between settlements in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (ChAO). The company also plans to participate in search and rescue operations, provide medical evacuations, and forest protection. Its fleet will include 10 Mi-8 helicopters. The resident will begin providing services in 2027. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor is investing 4.8 billion rubles and creating 76 jobs.

"We plan to create a modern aviation infrastructure that will ensure safe air travel between the region's populated areas and neighboring regions. The project's implementation will not only ensure local residents' mobility but also contribute to the development of the tourism industry," said Maxim Pervov, CEO of “SeverAero” LLC.
