The “Agroterra-M” company, as a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), will create a nursery for growing pines and spruces in the city of Kola in the Murmansk Region. The enterprise will also produce specialized soil and fertilizers for coniferous trees. The company's products are intended for reforestation, landscaping of public spaces and private homes. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will invest 95 million rubles. The company will begin selling seedlings and soil in 2029.
Alexander Shutov, Director of FEDC “Murmansk”: "Growing tree seedlings is an ecologically and socially responsible business. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation supports entrepreneurs by providing tax breaks and administrative preferences. This simplifies the introduction of investment projects."
