The AZRF resident will create conditions in Taimyr for the reception of cargo ships carrying out the export of coal from the Syradasayskoye deposit
A permit was obtained to carry out work to deepen the water area of the cargo berth and the channel of the sea coal terminal of the Syradasayskoye deposit. This will allow large bulk carriers with a deadweight of more than 100,000 tons to enter the port “Yenisei”. The work will be carried out as part of the project for the development of the Syradasai coal deposit in Taimyr by the resident of the Arctic zone of Russia - the company “Severnaya Zvezda” under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
It is planned to carry out all work on dredging
the water area of the cargo berth and the channel for the exit of loaded ships
as early as the navigation of 2023. The facility will be built in accordance
with the plan for the development of the Northern Sea Route for the period up
to 2035 approved by the Russian Government.
