A resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation is expanding its coffee roasting production beyond the Arctic

Severodvinsk has developed its own "Arctic" coffee flavors thanks to a project by individual entrepreneur Georgy Abramov. Tax breaks and preferences provided by its status as a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) have enabled the signature coffee roasting business "Ya Zharyu" (I'm Roasting) to increase its operations.

The coffee processing at the facility is unique: its aroma and flavor—strong and rich—are achieved through special bean fermentation and its own infusion technology for green coffee. The entrepreneur purchases large quantities of grain from producers in Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Colombia, and other countries.

Proceeds are used to improve production, expand the product range, and train staff. The company currently employs three people.

Anastasia Zhuk, Director of the Arctic Zone Investment Project Implementation Support Department of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation., emphasizes that preferential regimes allow many investment projects to receive support for a successful start—at the construction stage, during production setup, and reaching design capacity.
