As part of the project to develop logistics along the Northern Sea Route, “RP-SHIPPING” (part of the RUSPETROL group of companies) purchased an Arctic-class marine tanker “Kilikia” to carry out stable supplies of petroleum products under the “northern delivery” program. The vessel with a deadweight of 20,000 tons will start operating in the second half of February 2023. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) invested 568 million rubles in the project.
