Resident of the Russian Arctic offers tourists to open the season of the polar day in a new hotel in the Khibiny
In Kirovsk, Murmansk Region, a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) opened the first hospitality facility in the city with maximum accessibility to the Khibiny mountain slopes. “Sokroma Nedvizhimost” (owned by “Sokroma Hotels” Group, St. Petersburg) has reconstructed a historic building built in 1935. The project was implemented under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
The three-star “Sokroma Hyperborea” chain spa hotel consists of 45 apartments of various categories - from economy to deluxe, a lobby, a children's room and meeting rooms. Each apartment of the hotel has a living room, an individual kitchen, a sleeping area, heated floors and a bathroom, wired internet, TVs with free access to online cinemas and the possibility of ordering food in the room.
The hotel was put into operation in 2023, the first guests were received in May, when the polar day comes, and the main flow of tourists is expected by the beginning of the ski season. The hotel can accommodate up to 90 people at a time, or 6,000 people a year.
