Resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation will produce 1,500 drones per month in Murmansk

The resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) company "NPK PROGRESS" will build a production workshop for the assembly of unmanned aerial vehicles in Murmansk. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will invest 3.2 million rubles. The production capacity is 1,500 devices per month. Production will begin at the end of 2025. "In accordance with the project, our company will build an assembly workshop from prefabricated structures for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, especially surface ones. 40% of the products will be exported, including to the countries of the League of Arab States," said Ivan Sukhanov, the company's CEO. Residents of the preferential regime of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation have access to reduced tax rates, administrative and consulting support.
