Flogopit LLC, a resident of the Arctic Zone, is working on a project in Murmansk Region aimed at starting up operations to produce phlogopite mica using a unique patented technology. The raw minerals are being mined at the Kovdor mica deposit, the world’s largest deposit in terms of reserve volumes, and best in terms of mineral quality. To date Flogopit LLC has invested 54 million rubles of its own funds in the project.
