A record number of entrepreneurs - VTB clients - chose preferential regimes in the Far East and the Arctic in 2024

In 2024, 155 VTB small and medium-sized business clients became residents of preferential regimes in the Far East and the Arctic. This was a record for the entire period of operation of state support mechanisms. The volume of new declared investments exceeds 60 billion rubles. VTB currently serves more than a thousand small and medium-sized business clients in preferential regimes, or every third resident. As part of the agreement concluded at the EEF-2023, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and VTB inform residents of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic about government support measures for starting and developing business. Including ways to obtain the status of a resident of the advanced development area, the Free Port Vladivostok (FPV), the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) and the preferential regime on the Kuril Islands (KIRF), tax incentives and administrative support, opportunities to attract financing for new investment projects, and the use of services. The project involves 16 regions and 15 bank offices servicing legal entities from Murmansk to Primorsky Region.
