Far Eastern Federal District regions join the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”

The sixth season of the "Save the Forest" campaign has started in Russia. It covers all subjects of the Russian Federation, including new regions. The campaign "is the largest forest restoration project in the country. It has been held since 2019 as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin dated May 7, 2018 No. 204 "On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024" and the national project "Ecology". Regions of the Far East have joined the events of the All-Russian campaign. The project addresses the challenges of developing environmental culture and responsible attitude towards nature. In total, over the previous five seasons of the project, its participants have planted about 300 million trees. The new season of the project also includes “clean-up” days in forestry areas, educational master classes, online quizzes on the topic of forests and other thematic activities.
