A new resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation will open an entertainment center in Chukotka in 2028

Individual entrepreneur Vitaly Mikhailov will open a center for intellectual and recreational activities in the village of Tavayvaam in the Chukotka Autonomous District. The recreation center will host approximately 12 events monthly, including four for children. The center's premises are also planned to be available for rent for celebrations and banquets. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), 14.9 million rubles will be invested in the project.

"When winter is around for nine months, people especially appreciate atmospheric and cozy places where they can meet friends, chat, and relax. We learned this when we opened our restaurant in Anadyr. Now we want to go further and create a new public space for local residents and their children. We plan to work with children and regional businesses and eventually obtain social enterprise status to create not just a recreational area, but a true public space for everyone," said Vitaly Mikhailov.
