Development of the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor (TTC): an agreement to build a deep-water port in Arkhangelsk was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum 2026

An agreement on the construction of a deep-water area of ​​the Arkhangelsk seaport was signed at the XI Eastern Economic Forum by the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region, Rosatom, and SPK Deep-Water Port Arkhangelsk.

The document was signed by Yuri Serdechkin, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and Arctic; Igor Muraev, Deputy Chairman of the Arkhangelsk Region Government; Vladimir Panov, Director for the Development of the Northern Sea Route and the Arctic – Director of the Arctic Directorate of the “Rosatom” State Corporation; and Ivan Atemasov, General Director of the management organization JSC SPK Deepwater Port Arkhangelsk.

The new Arkhangelsk port area is tentatively planned to be built by 2032.
