"The launch of showcases for Far Eastern entrepreneurs is an important step in the transition of local businesses, including those created with government support, from the local to the federal level. In 2024 alone, the number of Far Eastern sellers on the marketplace increased by 18%, and sales grew by 57%. Along with promoting Far Eastern products, the showcases help introduce millions of Russians to the region itself. Along with the "Made in Russia" showcases, the "Growth Platform," which we are also participating in, is an important mechanism for supporting Far Eastern brands. The program is aimed at assisting small and medium-sized businesses and increasing entrepreneurial activity in the region," said Alexey Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic.
As the company noted, any manufacturer registered on the Wildberries marketplace can independently apply to be included in the "Made in Russia" section through the seller portal. The main selection criterion is that the brand's products must be original and produced in the specified region. Each application is reviewed within 30 days.
