Industrial design has become part of the Far East's venture ecosystem

The “Lab 20-50” Industrial Design Center has joined an open agreement to create an umbrella venture capital infrastructure for the regions of the Russian Far East and Arctic. The open agreement was initiated by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) jointly with the Sakha Republic Innovation Development Fund (IDF) and signed at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025. The document aims to consolidate the efforts of the government, business, and the expert community to create a sustainable venture capital environment and develop strategically important territories.

The agreement aims to create a seamless infrastructure for attracting capital to priority sectors, including the creative economy, IT and digital technologies, biotechnology, the green economy, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Its key objective is to provide startups at all stages of development with access to financing, industry expertise, and sales markets, thereby strengthening Russia's technological sovereignty.
