The production of polyethylene pipes for water supply and gas distribution systems with a design capacity of 1,500 tons was launched by a resident of the “Khabarovsk” priority development area

"Far Eastern Polyethylene Pipe Plant" LLC has launched manufacture of products for water supply, sewerage and gas distribution systems at the "Rakitnoye" site in the "Khabarovsk" priority development area (PDA). Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investment project has been provided with a land plot, electricity and water supply, as well as tax and administrative preferences. State support measures helped to create a new production facility within the planned timeframe. Over the next five years, the investor will build three more production facilities, increasing production volumes from 620 tons in 2024 to about 1,500 tons in 2029. More than 300 million rubles are being invested in the project under the agreement with FEDC. According to the co-founder of the enterprise, Alexey Kovalenko, the polymer pipe market is characterized by high demand, which significantly exceeds supply. According to investors' forecasts, the launch of production will cover only 10% of the region's total demand for products. The main consumers are housing and communal services and gas supply enterprises of the Khabarovsk Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region and Primorye. Russian manufacturers act as suppliers of raw materials.
