The Hektar program created conditions for the development of a ski slope in the Amur Region

The famous ski slope “Khitrovka” in the Seryshevsky district of the Amur Region will be developed thanks to the state program “Hectar”. The President of the Amur regional public organization "SPORTiYA" Lyudmila Labyntseva told the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) about the details of the project. “The Khitrovka ski track is a significant, famous place for our region, with history,” says Lyudmila Labyntseva. - Amur residents have been coming here to ski for half a century - since the 1970s. The route was popular, but no one was engaged in its improvement. With the support of district authorities, in 2018, ski lovers leased a section of the ski slope with an area of 57 hectares. In addition, in 2021, 6 hectares of Khitrovka were registered under the “Hectare” program with the right to use as “Sports grounds and facilities for sports.” The status of “Far Eastern hectares” made it possible to create conditions for the development of new sports on the territory biathlon, orienteering, cycling, and free running. According to the FEDC, about 10% of land recipients under the “Hektar” program implement projects in the field of tourism, sports and recreation on their land. Program participants open new campsites, ecological routes, ethnographic centers, and implement sports projects on the received sites.
