The “Hektar” program helped a compatriot get land and open his own business in the Khabarovsk Region
In the city of Vyazemsky, Khabarovsk Region, recipient of land under the “Hectare” program, Ara Allahverdyan, is developing a farm: growing vegetables and raising small livestock. To implement his project, he registered 5 hectares under the state program, and leased another 24 hectares.
A former military man, retired lieutenant colonel, and now a farmer from the Far East, he actively uses government support measures. Using the “AgroStartup” grant, Ara Allahverdyan bought a mini-tractor, a mower, a rake, a baler, and built a large barn for livestock. The farmer told the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) about his project “on hectares”.
“Our family moved to the Khabarovsk Region in 2020, using the opportunities of the State Program for the Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad,” says the former military man. After moving to the Russian Federation and receiving all the necessary documents, our family registered 5 “Far Eastern hectares” near the village of Otradnoye, which is located near the city of Vyazemsky.” The necessary infrastructure facilities: a road and a power line are located not far from the site.
